Adoption
At NobleTree Therapy, we work with adults who have been impacted by adoption.
We recognize that many adult adoptees have had significant early childhood trauma and may benefit from individual therapy. Some of our clients are searching for reconnection with their birth families. Others are seeking to integrate pieces of themselves, culture, and/or heritage that haven’t been supported in their adoptive family or various communities. In individual therapy, we offer support around the complexities of transracial, international or domestic adoption, biological family connection, birth order, race, culture, and the various dynamics related to adoptive families.

Attachment

We work with people to find a greater understanding of the relationships in their lives, explore the impacts on daily life, and determine ways to develop greater safety and security. We not only focus on attachment relationships to others but also the unique relationship each person has with themselves. How can you be yourself and exist in relationships? What would it look like to have a loving relationship with yourself? We’ll support you in answering these questions and more in individual therapy through an integrated and supportive approach.
